Below are some suggestions to get you started. These are merely a few suggestions to get you started.
Let’s start at the top and work our way down:
Temples and/or Back of Neck: Gently massage in Lavender or Peppermint to ease tension, Peppermint to give an energy boost or Lavender before bed to support a restful sleep.
Behind Ears: Peppermint or Eucalyptus to ease tension and give an energy boost.
Shoulders: Massage Deep Blue blend or Wintergreen in to support muscle relaxation and ease tension.
Over Heart: Rub Ylang Ylang over your heart in circular motions to experience a calming effect and help reduce the effects of daily stress.
Chest: Rub Breathe blend, Peppermint or Eucalyptus over the chest when environmental threats are high, to maintain clear airways and promote easy breathing.
Abdomen: Massage Clary Sage during your menstrual cycle. Rub Fennel, Peppermint or DigestZen blend to soothe occasional stomach discomfort.
Heels: Rub Clary Sage in to support ovaries and reproductive system.
Hands and Feet: Gently massage with carrier oil various oils to support body systems. OnGuard blend is great for supporting the immune system. Lavender to relax the nervous system and prepare for sleep. Peppermint to support the digestive tract.
As you can see, when it comes to using essential oils topically, it really can be a whole body experience. Practice using different techniques, oils and places on the body to see what you like best. Experiment with your children and other significant people in your life to see what they like.

Use a carrier oil to help massage them in and to help with any sensitivities. Some essential oils are considered hotter than others, and a carrier oil will help greatly. It also helps to “Carry” the essential oils into the skin and blood stream.
